Mark Behmer specializes in art that appeals to the outdoor sportsman, as well as anyone who loves the beauty of the great outdoors and wildlife.

His sporting dog art and custom dog portraits depict the true character of each dog and owner if so desired, whether hunting or just a home companion.

From sport fishing, hunting, and landscapes to wildlife art his work portrays a true expression of the places of our country we love.

His paintings have been described as painterly impressionistic realism.

Creating art has been a life long passion and what brings me joy. I think of my one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces as art that travels through the day with the wearer. My hope is that each piece will make a visual and tactile connection.

Lucia has taught children age 4-14 in private schools and children’s art programs in colleges in the Chicago area. Introducing children to materials and art processes has been rewarding. She has tried to encourage a passion for the arts in her own two children.
